Moving In Vancouver
We understand that for many people moving is a stressful experience. We do our best to make moving day an easy and hassle-free experience. As well, we pledge to provide careful, friendly, and efficient service on each and every job.
Storage Services
Temporary Storage
There are often short waits needed before the move-in can start. It is often just fine to put a lock on the back of the moving van if you only need storage for a day or so. For longer periods of time, a storage locker is often the best way to go.
Longer Term Storage
We have great deals on heated, secured storage. We will pick up and drop off your belongings as requested at our list prices. The first six months are priced at:
5x10x10 Locker: $205/month
10x10x10 Locker: $265/month
15x10x10 Locker: $355/month
20x10x10 Locker: $475/month
Vault Storage
We have 6’x6’x7′ vaults that can be forklifted off and onto our trucks and stored at a heated secured warehouse. The vaults are packed onsite and dropped back off in the same vault saving on how many times your items need to be handled.
Because the vaults are stored inside at a fairly constant temperature you don’t have to worry about the slight condensation that can build up when customers choose outside storage containers.
Oversize items are stored in a separate storage. Storage is all about cubic feet and how well your items may be stacked.
- A smaller one-bedroom apartment typically needs two vaults.
- A larger one-bedroom apartment and two-bedroom apartment need three vaults.
- A three-bedroom house or apartment may need four vaults.
Our three-ton trucks can carry two vaults. Our five-ton trucks can carry up to four vaults. You can expect to save about 25% of the moving bill when you store and move back in using vaults because of the time saved by handling the items only on the move out and the move back in.
Storage costs are $150/month per vault. You will need to sign a contract to use our vaults and storage. Be aware there are late fees and credit cards are needed to secure payment. We only accept customers we feel certain will make payments.

Moving Extra’s You May Consider
Some people want a quick, no frills move to save time and money. If the furniture isn’t too expensive then blanket wrapping in the truck is the fastest way to do a move. Nicer furniture may need to be blanket and shrink wrapped in the home. Furniture you don’t want any dirt on at all you may want to use special furniture bags rather than just shrink wrap. These extra’s take time and materials but may be the best decision if your furniture deserves special care.
A quick way to do a move is to have your movers deliver your items to a main accessible point and then the homeowner will deal with everything from there. Room stickers and colour coding and marking on boxes with markers can also be used to help you movers deliver all the items to their appropriate rooms. The movers can also do all your unpacking and setup if you like.
If the home is nice and the carpets are clean than you may wish to have the movers lay down blankets to set up a staging area and shoes can be taken off inside the home. Another option is to use neoprene floor runners. The fastest way is to ask the movers to brush off their shoes and do a clean afterwards.
The movers will have a general understanding of what should be done based on the condition of the items and the home. The most important part of the equation though is that you the client tell the movers what you want so you have the moving experience you wish to have.
